Travelling by car

Navigation system

If you're using a navigation system, enter "Wendelinstrasse 1" in Cologne as your destination. At Wendelinstrasse 1, turn left into our visitors' car park (pass through second barrier). Here you will find designated parking spaces.

Coming from Oberhausen

Follow motorway A3 to the intersection "Leverkusen". Change onto the A1 towards "Koblenz/Aachen". Leave the motorway at the last exit (Köln-Zentrum) before the intersection "Köln-West" and turn right onto "Aachener Strasse" following the signs to "Köln-Zentrum". Continue along "Aachener Strasse" towards the city centre for approx. 3 km. Get into the left-hand lane and turn left onto the turning lane (traffic lights) when you reach the Rhein-Energie-Stadion on your right. From here, you turn directly into "Wendelinstrasse". The entrance to the visitor's car park is approx. 50 m along on the left (2nd barrier).

Coming from Frankfurt

Follow motorway A3 to intersection "Heumar". Change onto the A4 following the signs to "Aachen/Köln-Deutz" and continue until intersection "Köln-West". Turn right here onto the A1 following the signs to "Dortmund/Düsseldorf", leaving the motorway at the next exit "Köln-Zentrum". Get into the right-hand lane following the signs to "Köln-Zentrum" at the traffic lights and continue along "Aachener Strasse" for approx. 3 km in the direction of the city centre. Get into the left-hand lane and turn left onto the turning lane (traffic lights) when you reach the Rhein-Energie-Stadion on your right. From here, you turn directly into "Wendelinstrasse". The entrance to the visitor's car park is approx. 50 m along on the left (2nd barrier).

Coming from Bonn

Follow motorway A555 to intersection "Kölner-Verteilerkreis". Change onto the A4 following the signs to Aachen until interchange "Köln-West". Turn right here onto the A1 following the signs to Dortmund/Düsseldorf and leave the motorway at the next exit "Köln-Zentrum". Get into the right-hand lane at the traffic lights following the signs to "Köln-Zentrum" and continue along "Aachener Strasse" for approx. 3 km in the direction of the city centre. Get into the left-hand lane and turn left onto the turning lane (traffic lights) when you reach the Rhein-Energie-Stadion on the right. From here, you turn directly into "Wendelinstrasse". The entrance to the visitor's car park is approx. 50 m along on the left (2nd barrier).

Coming from Düsseldorf

Follow the A57 to exit "Köln-Lindenthal". Turn right onto "Innere Kanalstrasse" and follow the road until you get to "Aachener Strasse", which crosses this road. Turn right and continue along "Aachener Strasse" for approx. 5 km in a westerly direction, heading away from the city centre. After crossing the "Militärringstrasse", you will see "Wendelinstrasse" on the right after "McDonalds". Turn right here, after approx. 50 m you will see the entrance to our visitor's car park (2nd barrier).

Coming from Aachen

Follow the A4 to intersection "Köln-West". Change onto the A1 following the signs to Dortmund and leave the motorway at the next exit "Köln-Zentrum". Get into the right-hand lane at the traffic lights following the signs to "Köln-Zentrum" and continue along "Aachener Strasse" for approx. 3 km, heading towards the city centre. Get into the left-hand lane, turn left onto the turning lane (traffic lights) when you reach the Rhein-Energie-Stadion on the right. From here, you turn directly into "Wendelinstrasse". The entrance to the visitor's car park is approx. 50 m along on the left (2nd barrier).

Coming from Olpe

Follow the A4 to Cologne (the motorway merges into the city motorway) across the Rhine. Continue for approx. 6 km until you reach the "Aachener Str." which crosses this road. Turn right here and continue for approx. 5 km in a westerly direction, heading away from the city centre. After crossing the "Militärringstrasse", you will see "Wendelinstrasse" on the right after "McDonalds". Turn right here, after approx. 50 m you will see the entrance to our visitor's car park (2nd barrier).

Travelling by public transport

From the central station, take subway train No. 12/14/16 or 18 to "Neumarkt". Change to tram No. 1 bound for Weiden und get out at "Rheinenergie-Stadion". From here, cross the "Aachener Strasse" and bear right into "Wendelinstrasse".
